Donna (Bowman) Lutz Obituary

Donna M. Lutz, 62, of Reading, passed away at 6:42 a.m., Thursday, December 24th, peacefully, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.


She was the wife of Herman L. Lutz. They were married on May 9, 2007, but were together for 24 loving years. Donna was born in Ephrata, PA, on May 6, 1953, a daughter of the late Arlene M. (Parsons) and Paul S. Bowman.


She worked as a machine operator at Narrow Fabric for 20 years, retiring in 2011.


Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she loved to play Bingo.


She is survived by her husband, Herman,, and three children: a son, Edward R. Bean Jr., a daughter, Joey L. Bean, and a son, Neil J. Bean Sr., all of Reading.


Donna is also survived by two sisters, Judith, wife of Rick Reider, of Denver, PA, Bridget Baer, of Reading; a brother, Jeffrey Parsons, of Reading; and by eight grandchildren.


She was predeceased by son, Scott M. Bean, in 1972 and a grandchild.


Religious Service at Feeney Funeral Home on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society , 598 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.


Arrangements entrusted to the John P. Feeney Funeral Home, in Reading's Centre Park Historic District, 625 N. 4th St. at Centre Ave. (Route 61), Reading, PA 19601.
