David I. Montilla, 58, of Temple, PA, passed away Wednesday, August 9th, at his residence in Temple.
David was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on December 20th, 1964, a son of the late Rosa Nunez Baez and Rafael Montilla.
He was the husband of Candida (Fabre) Montilla, who survived him.
He was employed as an Accountant at the US Army Corp of Engineers, Fort Hamilton, NY., for 20 years retiring in 2015.
In addition to his wife, Candida, David is survived by two sisters, Minerva Read, of NYC, NY; Gladys Acevedo, of Orlando, FL; 2 nephews, Jeremy Read and Jesus Pasuizaca and a niece Jeanette Pasuizaca and two stepsons Jovany Burgos, of Reading, PA; Emanuel Burgos, of Reading, PA.
A public visitation will be held Sunday evening at Feeney Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Friends and relatives are invitd to atend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church South 5th St. Reading on Monday, August 14th at 10 AM.
A second visitation will be held at Ortiz Funeral Home 4425 Broadway, Upper Manhattan, New York, on Monday evening, August 14th, from 6-8 PM and Tuesday morning from 9 - 10 AM with Mausoleum Encryptment at 11 AM in Holy Trinity Cemetery Upper Manhattan, NY.
