David Christner Obituary

David E. Christner, 72, of Douglassville, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 11th, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.

David was born in Boynton, PA on March 9, 1946, a son of the late Kathleen H. (Hotchkiss) and Everett Faye Christner. He was the widower of Dolores (Shuck) and worked as a Press Operator at Beacon Containers for 40+ years, retiring in 2010.

David is survived by two daughters: Tammy, wife of Shawn Maione, of Robesonia; and Beth A. Christner, of Douglassville, and a son, Duane E. Christner, of Muhlenburg Twp. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, Lisa Christner and one grandson.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
