Betty M. (Sheeler) McDonald Obituary

Betty M. (Sheeler) McDonald, 87, of Reading, PA, formerly of Laurelwood Lane Douglassville passed away Saturday, November 20th, at her residence. 


Betty was born in Pottstown, PA on November 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Catherine (Kauffman) and Russell  Sheeler.


She was the widow of Ronald M. McDonald. who died in 1997 


Betty was a singer in Ronald McDonald Band, The Clowns, later called The Country Gentlemen,  and later worked as a Kitchen Aide at Boyertown School District. She also worked a motorized delivery route in the Boyertown area for the Reading Eagle for 11 years.,


She is survived by her daughter, Linda Raines, wife of Henry Raines of Exeter Township

and also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 children  Ronald and Gary McDonald.


A private interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Twp., PA.
