Beryl Helwig
Beryl Helwig, 88, of Mt. Penn, passed away Thursday, November 25th, at Sanatoga Center, Pottstown, Montgomery County.
Beryl was born in Reading, PA on August 28, 1933, a daughter of the late Helen (Naus) and Edward Ford.
She was the wife of Donald I Helwig, who survives her.
A member of Christ Episcopal Church Reading, PA 19602, she worked in Retail Service at Nichols Department Store, Exeter. She also worked at CNA as an insurance processor, for a combined total of 33 years.
In addition to her husband, Donald, Beryl is survived by two daughters, Susan L., widow of Lynn Hatt and Carol Tomassacci, both of Exeter Twp.; Stepsons, Donald R Helwig, of Reinholds, and David J. Helwig, Lebanon, daughter-in-law Jill Braun-Helwig and by a sister, Linda Ford, of Reading, PA. Beryl is also survived by 4 additional sisters plus 2 grandchildren, Frank and Seth, step-grandchildren Jessica and John, and 2 great grandchildren, Kelsie and Kyle. She was predeceased by sisters Betty Jane Ford, Charlotte Dellinger, Helen McCoy and 3 brothers Robert, James and Raymond Ford.
Beryl loved to take day trips as well as extended vacations. Most memorable was cruises to Bermuda and New England (during 9/11); Graceland, Las Vegas, and New Orleans.
A sweet, kind soul, Beryl will surely be missed.

Public Viewing will be held 8:30 AM to 9 AM on Friday, December 3rd at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA
A Religious Service will be held at 9 AM on Friday, December 3rd at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA with Reverend Douglas Moyer officiating.
A casketed Interment will follow at Schwarzwald Cemetery, PA.
