Beatrice Mae Grim, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at Berks Heim, surrounded by her children.
She was born July 17,1940 a daughter of the late Alice (Trate) and William Seiters. she was married to Paul Grim, a Marine Corps veteran), who predeceased her in 1999.
Beatrice was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, known to her grandchildren as Nanny/Grandma. Family remained important to her throughout her life, and in her final days, when asked about her favorite memory in life, she simply said, family.
She spent much of her life as a housewife and homemaker, caring for her home and raising her children. She took pride in creating holiday traditions, especially preparing meals for family gatherings, and each year hosted a large Easter egg hunt for family and friends. The Easter egg hunt brought her great joy and created lasting memories for all who attended. She often referred to herself as the “Busy Bea,” a playful nod to both her name and her always staying busy.
Later in life, Beatrice worked for Carlton Cards, restocking greeting cards at various local stores, a role she enjoyed for both the work and the connections she made. She also enjoyed jazz music and made it a point to attend the annual Berks Jazz Fest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Grim, her daughter Alicia Delgado, and her grandson Brent Clark.
She is survived by her children Pamela (Delgado) Bowers, wife of Stephen, of Oley Township, William Delgado, husband of Tina, of Muhlenberg Township, and Deborah Delgado, of Kenhorst, companion of Bobby Evans, along with seven surviving grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She will be remembered in the memories shared by her family.
A dual service and encryptment will be held for Beatrice and Paul (decd 1999) at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (exit 85 off Route 81 near Annville PA) at 1:30 PM on Tuesday January 13th. Procession will gather at John P. Feeney Funeal home from 11:30 Am until 12 Noon and leave promptly at 12:15 PM to proceed to the Interment at Indiantown Gap. Marine Corp Honors for Paul will begin at 1:35 PM.
