Reading Policeman (Ret)

Anthony Clayton Blass, 91, of Wernersville passed away Tuesday, June 23rd, at Sinking Spring Nursing and Rehab, Sinking Spring. Anthony was born in Reading on March 15, 1935, a son of the late Anna (Wentzel) and Michael Blass. He served in the U.S. Army as a SP4 as a Military Policeman and continued working as a Policeman with the Reading Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1982. He was the former Treasurer at the Spartico Club in Reading.

Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30th at 12:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with full Military Honors.. Funeral procession will leave Feeney Funeral Home at 11:15 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Veteran's Making a Difference, 2412 Spring St., West Lawn, PA 19609.
