Anne M. Pentz, 84, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, April 26th, at Manor Care Health Services, Laureldale.
Anne was born in Reading on March 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Katherine C. (McDonnell) and John W. Eline and was the wife of Joseph A. Pentz, of Reading who survived her.
Anne was a 1951 graduate of Central Catholic High School and worked as a sales clerk at Wenger's Bakery, Reading for 12 years until retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church, Reading and member of the Legion of Mary Auxiliary of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
She is survived by her her husband, Joseph and Son Timothy P. Pentz, of Reading; Daughter Victoria A., wife of Thomas Dillman, of Leesport; Son Michael J., and significant other Edna Townsend, of Reading; Daughter Teresita, wife of Leon Wanna, of Reading; Daughter Susan D., wife of Gary Binasiewicz, of Sinking Spring and Sister Eleanor, wife of Terence Henne, of Wyomissing. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Brother John W. Eline, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, April 28th, from 6 to 8 PM at John P. Feeney Funeral Home and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Gethsemane Chapel of the Resurrection, Laureldale, Friday at 10 AM. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
