 Albert Schneider, 89, of Wyomissing, formerly of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away Wednesday, April 4th, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. "His last breath on earth was his first breath in heaven" (Billy Graham).

Albert was born in Neu-Elft, Bessarabien, Ukraine and he was the son of the late Else and Daniel Schneider.

He was the loving husband of Elfriede (Ziegenhagel) Schneider, who survives him. 

Albert, with his creative and entrepreneurial spirit, had many business ventures and a multitude of talents. He is best known locally as the owner of Robesonia Flowers, Inc., a family florist and greenhouse business established in 1979 until his retirement in 1999. In 2001, Albert received a U.S. patent as the inventor of a plant hanging suspension device. His family will treasure memories of his perceptive personality and unique sense of humor. He exhibited an amazing work ethic and stamina well into his mid 80's. Above all, his love and devotion to his family was unwavering and he will be sadly missed.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Elfriede, and their two children, a son, Norbert Schneider, husband of Linda, Wernersville, PA; and a daughter, Annette Burris, Wernersville, PA.

He was the proud Opa to 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Schneider, husband of Ashley, Alexander Schneider, Rosalie Schneider, Matthew Burris and Taylor Burris and one great granddaughter, Olivia Louise Schneider.
 
Albert was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. Memorial donations may be made in Albert's memory to St. John's Lutheran Church, 521 Walnut Street, Reading, PA. 19601.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Charles Evans Cemetery, with the Rev. Sonja Ware officiating. A visitation with family will be held one hour prior to the service. Encryptment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery.
