Patricia Anne (McGiniss) Buch, age 82, of Exeter Township.
After 82 + years of loving life, and all living things, particularly her partner ,Alan J. MacLachlan, and especially loving her five children, Ray, (Cathy), Steve,(Robbie), Connie, Diane, (Gary), and Meredith, Patricia McGinniss Buch died (May 2, 2020)) in the peace and love of her family. She cherished her grandchildren, Stephen, (Neda), Ryan, (Camille), Victoria, (Alex), Chelsea, (Bryn), Shannon, Megan, Ethan, and Leah and was delighted by her great-grandchildren, Dalton and Nolan Buch.
Child of her now deceased parents, Stephen and Anne Cimino McGinniss, Patricia was born in the Holmesburg section of , Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her sister, Ellie Scheetz preceded her in death aas did her brother, Steve McGinniss Jr., in May of 2019.
Devoted to her Roman Catholic religious faith as well as her strong faith in humanity, Pat used her formal all -Catholic education to follow her philosphy by employment in the Montgomery County Mental Health System, first as a Casework Supervisor at MCES, Norristown, and then as a partner in a Family Therapy in-Home Counseling service, under the auspices of Abington Memorial Hospital and the training provided by Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, and its Director, Marion Linblad-Goldberg.Within the church, Pat served as a Religious Education Teacher at St. Helena's, Center Square, and St. Edward's, Milford, N.J. She also served in Ministry as a Lector at Our Lady of the Angels, CMCH, NJ, and St. Edward's, Milford N.J.
Treasuring her extended family of Aunts and Cousins, her friends from her teen years, those friends through each decade of her life as well as different U.S. geographic areas and Canada, she was honored by their continued friendship and the gift of themself which enriched her life. A consummate lover of learning, she enjoyed Reading the Classics and English Mystery
novels., Gardening was a part of her later life where she enjoyed the bloom and the tending to living things. With a talent for cooking, she enjoyed its creativity and the ability to share it with her family and friends. Politics, Yoga, Art, Music and Travel, were her long-standing interests. She left this Earth accompanied by the love and compassion of her loved ones and with the dignity of a soul beginning its new journey.
