Yvonne Kreiger Rhoads, 86, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully on September 28th, surrounded by her loving family. 
She is survived by her beloved husband, “love of her life” for 67 years, Eugene J. Rhoads, her children Melanie (Michael) Anderson and Gary (Anne) Rhoads; her grandchildren Michael Anderson, Elizabeth Rhoads Greenaway, and Andrew Rhoads; two great granddaughters; her brother Robert (Dolly) Kreiger; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Yvonne was born at home in Tamaqua, PA to Blanche (Coleman) and Oliver Kreiger on October 23, 1934.
She was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School. Yvonne was an active and faithful member of the Calvary Reformed United Church of Christ, Reading, throughout most of her life and more recently became a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Sinking Spring.
Yvonne was a caring and loving wife and mother who was deeply devoted to her family. She loved planning special family vacations and events, and collecting seashells on Sanibel Island. Yvonne shared her love for the beach, kayaking, biking, tennis, nature, cooking, and having fun with her family and dear friends.
Celebration of life service will be private for family.
