William E. Harter, Sr. Obituary

William E. Harter, Sr., 94, of Perkiomenville, passed away Friday, June 10th, at his residence. 
William was born in Reading on January 8, 1928, a son of the late Rosa (Schneider) and Leo Adam Harter and was the widower of Ottola (Heck) Harter.
He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II on the USS Casco and worked as a Foreman at Dana Corp. for 35 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
William is survived by his daughter, Patricia Kuhn, wife of Richard, of Womelsdorf; son, William Harter Jr., husband of Sandra, of Perkiomenville; sister, Betty Lou Rittenhouse, of Oley and brother, Walter Harter, of Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
