Terry Lee Wright, Sr., 78, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, September 22, at Tower Health Reading Hospital, West Reading.
Born on April 1, 1947, in Reading, Terry was the son of the late Augustine Stern and Samuel Wright. He proudly served as a Tank Commander in the U.S. Army and later worked as a Foreman in the commercial construction industry.
Terry spent much of his early life in Reading, PA, before marrying in 1973 and relocating his family to New York. After working for many years as a foreman, he retired and returned to his roots in Reading, where he lived until his passing.
Terry is survived by his two daughters, Felicia Wright of Copiague, NY, and Andrea Wright of Freeport, NY; his son, Terry Lee Wright, Jr. of Copiague, NY; and his sister, Terri Price of Virginia. He is also survived by his nephew, Ronald Wright Jr., and his grandchildren: Shawn Wallace, the late Cordell Carter, Yadelise Ortiz, Ashley Gress, Jasmine Guthrie, Monte Wright, Brianna William, and Jamir Wright. In addition, he leaves behind six great-grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Wright and Ronald Wright, Sr. (affectionately known as "Sticky Buns").
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
