Sidney J. Johnson, age 64 years, of Shillington, formerly of Phoenixville, passed away Friday, November 6th, peacefully, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Sidney was born in Phoenixville on March 24, 1951, a son of the late Evelyn (McLinn) and James Johnson.
He worked as a Union Electrician at IBEW #380 for 30 years.
He is survived by his four sons: Sidney Joseph Johnson Jr., of Phoenixville; Emerson Claude Johnson, husband of Michele Johnson, of Seaside, OR; Isaac James Johnson, and Cory Martin Johnson, both of Phoenixville; and the mother of his children, Deborah Keller Johnson, of Rantoul, Illinois.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kieran O'Grady, Elliott Turocy, Nikai Joseph, Lola Johnson, Emma Harsch, Mala-Tai Phoenix, Kellan Johnson, Iyanna Johnson, Ilynn Johnson; and by close friend, Kathy Heckler, of Shillington.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jimmy Johnson.
A Memorial service will be Sunday, December 6th, at 1 p.m. at The Italian Club, 442 Dayton St., Phoenixville, PA.
