Shirley E. Rudy


Shirley E. Rudy, 85, of Adamstown, PA passed away Wednesday, August 10th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, Berks County. 


Shirley was born in Reading, PA on February 23, 1937, a daughter of the late Evelyn (Lee) and John Reigner.


She was a former member of Peace United Church of Christ Adamstown, PA and  worked as a Cashier at Weavers Market for 20+ years retired in 1999. 


Shirley is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. Diehl, wife of James Diehl, of Bethlehem, PA. and a son,Duane Rudy, of Adamstown, PA; 

She was predeceased by 5 siblings, John, Grant and Melvin Reigner and Gloria Reichardt also Sandy Simons.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023. 


Casketed Graveside Services Pleasant View Cemetery Sinking Spring, PA are private at the convenience of the family.
