Sally A. Cohen, 83, of Spring Township passed away on May 12.2024 at Mifflin Rehab after a long illness with emphysema. Born September 14, 1940 in Charleston, WV the daughter of Early and Helen Fields (Parker). She graduated in 1958 from Charleston High School, Charleston WV. Sally was the mother of the late Joyce (Frank) Bair, of Tucson, AZ and is survived by her husband of 62 years, MSgt Larry D. Cohen USAF (ret); daughter Eedy L. (Mike) Baker, of Bethel Township; 3 grandchildren, Bradley (Ashley) Baker, Ashley (Neal) Dalmas, of Frisco, Texas; Kelly (Trevor) Ashley, and great grandchildren, Calvin and Blake Dalmas and Kaylee Baker; brother, James Fields, of St. Albans, WV and predeceased by sister, Louise Teel. She was "Mom" to Ines Araujo from California.
Sally, being the wife of a career Air Force veteran, was well traveled having domiciled abouth the country: West Virginia, Michigan, Germany, Florida, West Virginia, California, Texas, Ohio, California, Texas and Ohio finally to settle in Berks County in 1978. To the many friends she made she only wishes them all the best and thanks them for being who they were and for accepting her as she was.
Services are private, interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 131, PO Box 13735, Reading, PA 19612.
