Ruth Mae (Boots) Fry, 94, formerly of Cambridge Ave, West Lawn and Philadelphia Ave Oley, PA passed on at 3:30am , Sunday, February 4th, 2024 in her sleep, at Towne Manor East Nursing home.
Ruth was born in Pottstown, PA on November 25, 1929, a daughter of the late Edna M. (Garber) and Frank L. Vroman.
She was the widow of Harry J. Fry of Oley and Spring City PA.
She worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Stanley Tools and also served as the president of the local UAW.
Ruth is survived by a daughter, Sherree Rose of Boyertown, PA, and two sons Jeffrey S. Fry, Sr of Krumsville, PA and Jack A. Fry of Perkasie, PA
Ruth is also survived by two brothers, Frank Vroman of Fleetwood and Paul Vroman, husband of Fay of Boyertown, PA and a sister, Sandra Mutter, widow of Ron Mutter of Bechtelsville, PA and by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Charles T (Tim) Fry of Oley PA.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, February 9th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA. A religious service will be held at 1 PM , Pastor Rary Rarrik officiating.
Interment at Limerick Garden of Memories Royersford, PA at 2 pm for the family.
