Russell L. Schmidtendorff, 55, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, March 8th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Russell was born in Reading, PA on April 13, 1966, a son of the late Ruth E, (Hendricks) Gassert and Howard G. Schmidtendorff.
He was the husband of Wendy L. (Fick) Schmidtendorff, who survived him.
He served in the U.S. Navy. in peacetime and later worked as a Cable Installer for Direct TV.
In addition to his wife, Wendy, Russell is survived by
three daughters, Erica M, Schmidtendorff, Ashley M. Schmidtendorff, and Melisas E. Schmidtendorff,all of Reading;
Russell is also survived by two sisters, Ann Widow of Joseph Dalton of Reading; Nikki Lynn, wife of James Lantz, of Newmanstown, P and by 1 grandson, Richie J. Schmidtendorff
Russell was predeeased by 2 siblings, Gayle L. Herneisen in 2014 and Richard L. Schmidtendorff in 1974
