Roselynn N. Marnelli, 86, of Reading, passed away Friday, November 3rd, at Mifflin Center, Cumru Twp.
Roselynn (Rose) was born in Reading, PA on August 25, 1937, daughter of the late Esther M. (Kersher) Zocco and Walter G. Hay.
She was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church Reading, PA 19601. and graduated from Reading High School, Class of 1955. She worked as a Bookkeeper and waitress at various places, retiring in 2014.
Rose was an avid Eagles fan who loved her children and grandchildren. She loved decorating, cooking for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Rose liked knitting and Crocheting. She spent her summers reading a good book while relaxing at the swimming pool with her kids and grandchildren.
Roselynn is survived by two daughters, Michele, wife of Thomas J, Bolton, of Reading PA,Tracy, wife of Arthur Wernicki, of Jefferson Township (Bernville); and son Joseph (Scott) Marnelli husband to Chrystal.Reading,PA. Roselynn is also survived by a sister, Elaine Willingmyre, of Sinking Spring, PA and by 6 grandchildren, Christopher Marnelli, Nicole Souders, Thomas and Joshua Bolton, Caitlin and Alexander Wernicki along with 2 great grandchildren Alexis and Cordelia Shirley. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert E. Marnelli (2022), and brother Walter G. Hay II.
A Public Viewing will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 8th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA
A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Father Ganser officiating. Interment in Charles Evans Cemetery Reading, PA.
