Ronald Matthews Obituary
Ronald L. "Graphite" Matthews, 75, of Boyertown, passed away Monday, October 21st, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Ronald was born in Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1948, a son of the late Nellie Faye (Dargan) and Lee Matthews and was the husband of Lynn P. (Trate) Matthews, of Boyertown.
Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force as a Sergeant from 1971 to 1975. He worked as a PGA and LPGA Tour Caddie and until his retirement he was in charge of the men’s locker room at Lookaway Golf Club in Buckingham, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his daughter, LaTanja Collazo, of Oregon; daughter, Rhonda Matthews, of Las Vegas; son, Ronald L. Matthews, Jr., of Las Vegas; step sons, Clint Miller, of King, NC; Kirk Miller, of Boyertown; Ryan Toy, of Boyertown; sister, Brenda Matthews, of Los Angeles; sister, Linda Matthews, of Palmdale, CA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
