Richard L. Linderman
US Navy Korean War Era
Richard L. Linderman, 85, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, March 27th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Richard was born in Reading, PA on January 6, 1934, a son of the late Florence (Felix) and Lawrence Linderman.
He was the husband of Janet (nee Brightbill) Linderman who Survives him.
He graduated fro Reading High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Shenandoah AD26 and the USS Bowie DD704.
He Retired as the owner and Electrician at Linderman Electric after 40+ years. He also worked for 10 years with Met Ed after leaving the service and was the head electrician for the Reading School District.
Richard is survived by
a son,Patrick S., husband of Brenda Linderman a sister, Themla, wife of Ralph Kneeram, of Hyde Park. He was one of 13 children.
He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Michael and Eric and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a Son David M. Linderman, who passed in 2015 and a grandchild Anthony Linderman.
Graveside Services are at the convenience fo the family at Forest Hills Memorial Park Exeter Twp., PA.
