Richard C. Stasek Obituary
Richard C. Stasek, 86, of Reading, passed away Thursday, May 26th, at St. Francis Home, Shillington.
Richard was born in Reading on March 3, 1936, a son of the late Helen D. (Hallman) and Elmer J. Stasek and was the widower of Betty R. (Brown) Stasek.
He was a member of St. Catharine of Sienna RC Church, Mt. Penn. Richard worked as a Grocer at Food Fare, Giant and other various stores.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Ann Foanio, of Reading and two grandchildren, Victoria A. Foanio and Timothy A Stasek. He was predeceased by his sons, Richard C. Stasek Jr. and Daniel J. Stasek and sister, Marie Gazavi.
Viewing will be Friday, June 3rd from 9 to 10 AM at St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Home 144 Hillside Dr. Shillington, PA 19607 or at stfrancishomereading.org/donate.
