Raymond "Ray" Paul Kasprowicz, Sr., 86, of Wernersville, passed away Saturday, February 5th in the Reading Hospital. On his final day, Ray passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Ray was born in Wernersville on September 18, 1935, a son of the late Frieda (Knott) and Frank Kasprowicz. He was the husband of Olga J. (Tovar) Kasprowicz, who survives him. Ray was preceded in death by his brothers Alfred, Ernest, Frank, and Robert. Ray was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Robesonia and served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl in the Korean War Era, later working as a typewriter repairman for 45 years until his retirement in 1996. Ray enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Olga, Ray is survived by his son, Ray Kasprowicz, Jr., husband of Vienne, of Atlanta, GA; Monica Petrini, of New Zealand; Patricia Sherwood, of St. Louis, MO; Eduardo Nagy and Arturo Nagy, of Maryland. Ray is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Aden, Mitchell, Eiliana, Madison, Alexandra, Isabella, and Jessica. Ray was a loving husband, brother, and grandfather and he will be greatly missed. Services are private at the convenience of family. Burial will take place in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
