Natel Fonte Obituary

Natel Joseph Fonte, 60, formerly of Reading, PA, passed away Thursday, September 6th in Dallas, Texas after a year-long battle with brain cancer. 

Born in Reading, he was a son of Natel Fonte and the late Jean (Kostzewa) Fonte.

Natel attended St. Peter's grade school and graduated from Reading High School. He worked as maintenance worker, enjoyed fishing and was an avid Eagles football fan even after moving to Texas more than 25 years ago. He also loved cooking gnocchi, his family's favorite traditional Italian dish.

Natel is survived by a daughter, Angela, wife of Gene Moyer, of Oley, PA; and his companion of 15 years Doreen (Dodie) Taylor. He is also survived by three sisters: Elaine Fonte, Diane Stefan, and Christina Fonte; a brother, Leonard Fonte; 2 granddaughters, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
