Michael Northam Obituary

Michael D. Northam, 87, of West Reading, Passed away Wednesday, August 21st, at Berks Heim Nursing Home,Bern Township.

Michael was born in Chicago, IL on March 28, 1937, a son of the late Clair (Bolster) and Arthur B. Northam. He was the husband of Laura E.

(Hardy) Northam, who survives him. They were married 39 years. Michael served in the U.S. Army in the peace time in Panama and was employed as a Inspector at Lucent Technologies retired 1984. Also worked for the former Western Electric and AT&T.

In addition to his wife, Laura, Michael is survived by a daughter, Amy, wife of Anthony Smyth, of Bluffton, SC;  son, Mark Northam, of Reading, PA; three step daughters, Sionna, wife of Derek

Grassbaugh, of Albuquerque, NM; Jenni, wife of Bertrand Wagner-Norman, of Seattle; Laura Beth Keenan, of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Soren Wagner-Norman of Seattle.

Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
