Mervyn B. Dietrich, Sr.

Mervyn B. Dietrich, Sr., 87, of Reading, PA, passed away at 8:47 AM, Sunday, January 27th, at Manor Care Health Services, West Reading. 

Mervyn was born in Temple, PA on April 29, 1931, a son of George Dietrich.

He was the widower of Jeanne M. (nee Lerch) Dietrich.

He is survived by a son, Mervyn B. Dietrich, Jr. and 3 grand chi8ldren. He was predeceased by a daughter Cheryl in 2005.

He served ion the United States Army in Korea where he received 3 Purple Hearts among other decorations. and later worked as a Truck Driver with A-PA Transport in Allentown, PA. for 43 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 773.

He will be interred with full military honors on Thursday, January 31st at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA .
