Mary C. (Schuchart) Polyak, 87, of Reading, passed away Thursday, April 7th, peacefully, at her residence.
She was the wife of Michael Polyak Jr. They were married for 68 years. Mary was born in Reading, Pa., on May 3, 1928, a daughter of the late Margaret M. (Strasbaugh) and Augustus W. Schuchart.
She was a Hosiery Worker at Berkshire Knitting Mills and also worked at Bertolet Candies, retiring in 1993.
She enjoyed going to the Casinos and her slots.
In addition to her husband, Michael , she is survived by 5 children: a daughter, Michele M. Polyak, of Wyomissing, Pa.; and 4 sons: Michael G., husband of Gloria A. (Fontana) Polyak III, of Reading, Pa.; Kevin L., husband of Linda A. (Shemansik) Polyak, of Shillington, Pa.; David B. Polyak, of Reading, Pa.; and Mark, husband of Kathy L. (Kemp) Polyak, of Temple, Pa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation.
