Mary (Brown) Gagnon Obituary

Mary E. Gagnon, age 89 years, of Douglassville, passed away Thursday, November 12th, at Berks Heim, Reading.

Mary was born in Babylon, Long Island, New York, on February 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Anna (Cody) and William Brown and was the widow of George E. Gagnon, who passed away March 29, 2011.


She was employed as an assembler at Milton Bradley, Springfield, Massachusetts for 20 years, retiring in 1971.


Mary is survived by her son, Grant A. Gagnon, of Douglassville, and daughter, Doreen M., wife of Carl Layman, of Morgantown.


She is also survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


She was predeceased by four brothers and her sister.


Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Home, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
