Loretta A. (Duggan) Harris
Loretta A. Harris, 84, of Reading, passed away at 5 PM, Sunday, May 1st, peacefully, at her sons residence in Muhlenberg Township.
The widow of Nelson M. Harris, Jr., who predeceased her on July 27, 1996, Loretta was born in Reading, PA on August 15, 1931, a daughter of the late Sarah A. (McNally) and William N. Duggan.
She attended Central Catholic High School and later worked as a Clean Room Technician at Western Electric in Reading, retiring in 1994. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her 8 children. three sons, Wayne A. Harris, husband Cheryl (Graczyk) Harris, of Bernville, PA; Stephan S. Harris, companion of Desenne Hartline, of Muhlenberg Township; Troy M. Harris, husband of Tina (Davies) Harris, of Exeter Township and 5 daughters, Elaine M. Zahariadis, of Exeter Twp; Linda C. Musket, of Lyons, PA; Kimberly A. Harris companion of Clifford Reese, of Shillington; Michelle R., wife of Chris Wenrich, of Reading, and Tracy L. Harris, of Reading. two sisters, Rose (Duggan), widow of Richard Kelly, of Wernersville; and Maureen (Duggan), wife of Leslie Fleischood, of Sinking Spring and one brother, MIchael,Duggan, husband of Brenda, of New Jersey. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Loretta was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen (Duggan) Griffith
Friends and relatives are invited to call Wednesday May 4th from 6-8 PM and Thursday May 5th from 9:00 - 9 45 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Funeral Procession will leave funeral home at 10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Gethsemane Chapel of the Resurrection, Laureldale, at 10:30 Am on Thursday, May 5th. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery Reading, PA.
