Kenneth E. Kulp

Kenneth E. Kulp, 97, of Lititz, PA, formerly of Wyomissing, PA, passed away at 1:25 AM, Sunday, September 11th, peacefully, at Luther Acres, Lititz, PA.
He was the husband of Betty A. (Piersol) Kulp, who survives him. They were married for 70 years.
Kenneth was born in Quakertown, PA on November 25, 1918, a son of the late Lizzie (Price) Kulp and Elwood S. Kulp.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in WW II and was stationed at the Panama Canal Zone.
He later worked as a laborer at Firestone Tire & Rubber Company Pottstown, PA., for 35 years
Kenneth was a Boy Scout Troop Leader, and a 32nd Degree Mason with Mt. Pickering Lodge in Eagle, PA. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife Betty, and 3 children: two daughters, Judith, wife of Edmund R. Scott, of Birdsboro, PA; Linda, wife of James E. Fleager, of Lititz, PA and a son,,K. Barry Kulp, of Bechtelsville, PA.
He is also survived by 7.grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott, Matthew Scott, K. Bradlley Kulp, Kevin Bryan Kulp, Jason Fleager, Kimberly Martin and Drew Fleager,;along with 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson, Kyle A. Kulp, who predeceased him.
A Life Celebration Service will be held at Trinity EC Church, Lititz, PA 17543 on Saturday, September 17th at 11 AM. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 AM Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family in Pine Swamp Church Cemetery,Elverson, PA. He was a former member of St Luke's EC Church in Shillington, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Building Fund, Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church 44 East Orange St Lititz, PA 17543 or to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive PO Box 4125 Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
