Karen M. Baer, 62, of Reading, passed away Thursday, April 9th, at Laurel Center, Hamburg. 


Karen was born in Reading, PA on October 21, 1957, a daughter of Doris (Kline) Becker, of Muhlenberg Twp. PA and the late Ronald N. Becker, Sr.


She was the wife of Cliff V. Baer. They were married for 32 years. 


She graduated from Reading High School, class of 1975. In  the early years she worked as a waitress and later as a secretary at.Kiwi Corporation, Douglassville. She also worked for Polymer Corporation. 


In addition to her husband and mother, Karen is survived by a son, Daniel P. Schleifenheimer, of Shillington,  a sister, Pamela, wife of Charles Potteiger, of Muhlenberg Twp. PA,  and a brother, Ronald N. Becker, Jr, of Wernersville, along with 3 nephews and one niece.
