Judith Bennett Obituary

Judith A. Bennett, 79, of Phoebe Village in Wernersville, Pennsylvania was reunited with her beloved late husband, Felice Daniel Marrongelle, on Friday, November 17, 2023.  Judith passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a brief, yet intense battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Judith was born on June 29, 1944 to the late Ann Kraftician Bennett in Northampton, PA.  She was a 1962 graduate of Northampton High School.  Upon graduating, she joined the United States Air Force where she served as an Airman 1st Class.

Following the completion of her military service, Judith went on to obtain her BA and Masters in education from Kutztown University.  It was there, attending a Veteran’s Club Meeting, that she met the one true love of her life, Felice.  On June 20, 1970, after a brief courtship, they were married and were rarely spotted without the other for the rest of their 52 years of marriage.  They both taught in the Twin Valley School District for 29 years before retiring.

Judi and Felice were world travelers.  They shared a love of good food & drink and were open to adventure of any kind. They truly enjoyed life and each other in every moment.

Judi also enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends and of course, the occasional Manhattan.

In addition to her mother and husband, Judi is predeceased by her brother Arthur Bennett and her sister Doris (Bennett) Handler.  She is survived by her sister in law, Donnamaria DiMariano, many nieces and nephews and even more great nieces and great nephews.

Judi will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery beside her husband with a private military interment.
