Joseph A. Gdowik, 79, of Reading, passed away Monday, July 10th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. 

Joseph was born in Reading, PA on July 30, 1937, a son of the late Jean (Kwarta) and Joseph Gdowik.

He was the husband of Jacquelyn A. (Victor) Gdowik who survives him, he was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School, class of 1955. He then served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman 2nd Class. 

He and his wife, Jacqquelyn, were avid golfers, mostly at Rich Maiden Golf Course. 

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by a son,Troy Gdowik, husband of Jennifer Gdowik, and  1 granddaughter Samantha Gdowik, of Sicklerville, NJ; 

Joseph is also survived by two sisters, Josie, of Sinking Spring; Cris, of Exeter Township. Joseph was one of 9 children.

Internment will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA with full military honors.
