Jose Francisco Sanchez, 92, of Reading, passed away Saturday at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading.
He was born in the Dominican Republic on February 28, 1927, a son of the late Maxima Zapata and Jose Maximo Sanchez Culles. He owned and operatd his own grocery store.
Jose is survived by three daughters and eleven sons, Francisco Antonio Sanchez, wife of Miriam Sanchez, of Long Island NY; Gracia Sanchez-Pifer, widow of Walter Pifer, of Reading; Francisco Jose Sanchez, of Tacoma, WA; Olmedo Sanchez, wife of Laura Garcia Sanchez, of Reading; Jose Andreas Sanchez, of Santiago, DR;
Francisco Santiago Sanchez, Companion of Menerfi Martinez, of Patterson, NJ;
Wilson Jose Sanchez, of Queens, NY; Jose Francisco Sanchez, husband of Elizabeth Martin, of Queens, NY; Jorge Antonio Sanchez, husband of Marcia Sanchez, Queens, NT, Jose Rojelin Sanchez, of Georgia; Jose Francisco Sanchez, of Georgia; Yajaira Sanchez, Connecticut, Evelyn Sanchez, of Pennsylania; Danni Sanchez, of Georgia. Jose is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren
Family and friends may gather Friday from 11:30 to 1 PM on Friday. Religious service will follow at 1 PM. Interment at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
