Jessie C. Deiter Obituary

Jessie C. Deiter died peacefully at Berks Heim on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was 87 years old. Jessie was born in New Brunswick, Schuylkill County to the late George and Catherine Deiter. She was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and an active member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. Jessie was employed by National Dry Cleaners and St. Joseph Hospital. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, wearing the color green, traveling, listening to country music, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel, Elmer, and George. Jessie is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank Berks Heim for their care and kindness. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, May 21st from 9 to 10 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Religious service will follow at 10 AM. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made in Jessie’s name to a charity of your choice.
