Jennie M. Knight
Jennie M. Knight, 79, of Birdsboro, passed away Saturday, July 22nd, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.
Jennie was born in Reinholds, PA on September 28, 1937, a daughter of the late Stella F. (Readinger) and William R. Sweigart.
She was the widow of Elmer B. Knight. Who predeceased her in 2003. Her first husband, David D. Dragan, Sr. died in 1976.
A member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3344 Reading Crest Avenue Muhlenberg Township 19605. Jennie was employed as a Sewing Machine Operator at Hay Creek Apparel Birdsboro, PA, retiring in 1986. She was a Past President of the Powder Puff Bowling League at the former Bowl-A-Rama from 1993 to 2001.
Jennie is survived by a daughter, JoAnn (Dragan) Devlin, wife of Hakon J. Gjessing of Exeter Township and a son, David D. Dragan, Jr. husband of Angela (Ciervo) Dragan of Bern Township. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Billiejo Schoener, William Krause, Jackie Armstrong, Jason Devlin and Teresa Dragan and 4 great grand children
Also 4 sisters, Helen Moyer of Reinholds, Shirley Hartranft of Myerstown, Linda Wonder of Akron and Barbara Hoke of Robesonia, and a brother Matin Sweigart of Galen, PA.,
She was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa (Dragan) Steckline, 2 sisters Emma Steinmetz, and Alberta Farmer, and 2 brothers Issac Sweigart and Charles Sweigart.
A visitation will be held 7 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, July 27th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA and also from 9 AM to 10 AM on Friday, July 28th at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 3344 Reading Crest Avenue Muhlenberg Township. A Religious Service will be held at 10 AM,

Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA at 12:30 PM.
