Janet Diezel Obituary

Janet A. Diezel, 95, formerly of Fairview Drive, Bern Township, passed away Friday, May 2nd, at Complete Care at Berkshire Center, Exeter. Janet was born in Reading on April 19, 1930, a daughter of the late Magdelena (Feichtinger) and Charles Reed and was the widow of David L. Diezel who predeceased her on February 21, 2024. Janet was a member of Epler's United Church of Christ, Leesport and was a office worker at Empire Steel Castings for 12 years and Glidden Credit Union for several years. She is survived by her three sons, Danny A. Diezel, widower of Pattie, of Muhlenberg Township; Gary L. Diezel, husband of Michelle, of The Villages, Florida; Michael R. Diezel, husband of Denise, of Exeter Township. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Viewing will be Friday, May 9th from 11 AM to 12 PM at Feeney Funeral Home. Religious service will follow at 12 PM with Reverend Fran Merkel officiating. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
