Retired Truck Driver and Farmer

Harold L. Oswald, 84, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Center, Mannheim, Lancaster County. 

The widower of Betty M. (Skipper) Oswald who died in February, Harold was born in Blandon, PA on August 7, 1933, a son of the late Florence (Mohn) and Franklin Oswald.

Harold enjoyed farming and later he retired as a Truck Driver, working for various companies including Mrs. Smith Pies, J.R. Rhoads and Kopenhafer Trucking. 

Harold is survived by three daughters, Barbara, wife of William Grossman, of Reading, PA;  Kathy, wife of Scott Wagner of Pottsville, PA and Sherry Yoh, companion of Kent Watrzenluft, of Robesonia, PA; along with three sons Harold (Buddy) Oswald, companion of Debbie Shaffer, of Temple, PA; William Oswald, husband of Lisa Oswald, of Texas and Jay Oswald, husband of Tricia Oswald, of Robesonia, PA; and a sister, Helen Kerr, of Fleetwood, PA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by 1 sister, Sarah and 3 brothers Herman, Lloyd and Frank Oswald.
