Grace M. Tag, 88, previously of . Lawrence Ave., Reading passed away Sunday, January 8th, at the Berks Heim.
Grace was born in Krumsville, PA on January 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Helen (Nunemaker) and John Hoppes.
She worked as a Housekeeper at the Reading Hospital of Reading, PA., for 27 years.
She had also been a Volunteer driver & cook for elderly shut ins.
Grace is survived by two daughters, Denise Kemmerer, of Reading and Ranee Kemmerer, of California; three sons Larry Kemmerer, of Shillington; Jay Kemmerer, husband of Jennifer, of Sinking Spring; and Bob Kemmerer, husband of Aida, of Sinking Spring.
She is also survived by two sisters, Elsie Weidner, wife of Harvey, of Boyertown, and Katherine Keuchler, of Pottstown, PA, and by 3 grandsons, Joseph Kemmerer, J.R. Kemmerer Jr. and Jacob Moore and 1 great grandchild, along with 2 half-sisters Diane Fisher of Texas and Joanne Franz of Pittsburgh, PA.
She was predeceased by her brother Leroy Hoppes, of Oley, PA, sister Alice Schwager, of Bechtelsville, PA. and half-brother Martin Becker.
Public Viewing will be held from 1 PM to 2 PM on Monday, January 16th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA.
Interment is private at the convenience of the family in Spies Zion Cemetery.
