George Shade, Jr. Obituary

George L. Shade, Jr., 62, of Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, April 14th, at Manor Care Health Services, Sinking Spring.
George was born in Portsmouth, VA on April 7, 1957, a son of Mary (Skippus) and George L. Shade, Sr., of Hyde Park and was the husband of Kimberly A. (Isett) Shade, of Womelsdorf.
He worked in the maintenance department for Reading Area Community College and Muhlenberg School District and previously operated Shade's Aquatics.
George is survived by his daughter, Niki Traynor, of Wernersville; two sons Jonathon, husband of Amy Shade, of Newmanstown; Joshua Shade, of Womelsdorf; and brother, Max, husband of Lorraine Shade, of W. Reading. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Jaylyn, Evan, Samuel and Lucas.
Memorial service will be Thursday, April 18th at 6PM at the John P. Feeney Funeral Home, 625 N. 4th St., Reading, PA 19601. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
