US Air Force - Vietnam Era

Geoffrey W. Zolna, 69, of Reading, passed away Thursday, November 22nd, at St Francis Home, Shillington. 

Geoffrey was born in Ashland, PA on November 6, 1949, a son of the late Helen L. (Lipski) and Walter J. Zolna.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam era and later worked as a Engeneering Aide with the Public Works for the City Of Reading, He also operated his own Photography Studio. A graduate of Holy Name High School, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Geoffrey is survived by a sister, Elaine S,, wife of Rick McGeehan, of Easton, PA and 

a brother, Anthony J. Zolna, of Mohrsville, PA. He is also survived by step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Francis Home 144 Hillside Drive Shillington, PA 19607. 

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM at Feeney Funeral Home.  Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery Reading, PA. on Wednesday at 2 PM.
