Fred Fegley, Jr. Obituary
Fred C. Fegley, Jr., 76, of Sinking Spring, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Fred was born in Reading, PA on March 7, 1944, a son of the late Milda (Brookens) Fegley and Fred C. Fegley, Sr.
He was the husband of Beverly A. (Long) Fegley who survives him.
Fred was a 1962 graduate of Wilson High School and served in the U.S. Army as a Private, receiving an honorable discharge.
He was the owner of Fegley Electric Corp. for 40 years and was former West Reading Fire Chief, certified scuba diver, Master Plumber and he enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean islands, especially Aruba.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, Fred is survived by a son ,Eric, husband of Laura Fegley, of Hampstead, NC; and a step son, E. Mark Pogue, of Reading.
He was predeceased by a sister Vivian Stine.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Kyle, Makenzie, Rylie, Abbie and Ryan; nieces Sue Marshall and Betsy Eagelman; nephews John Stine and Jeff Stine; and their respective families.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
