Frank Barbitta, Sr. Obituary

Frank Barbitta, Sr., 94, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, May 28th, at his residence. 
Frank was born in Reading on May 10, 1930, a son of the late Julia (Delillo) and Francesco Barbitta and was the widower of Betty J. (Wisner) Barbitta, who he was married to for 71 years. 
He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading and worked as a Saw Operator at Carpenter Technology for 30 years. He was a member of Riverside Beneficial Assoc. and was a former volunteer Fire Fighter for Riverside Fire Department. 


Frank is survived by his two sons, Frank Barbitta, Jr., of Reading; Michael J. Barbitta, of Muhlenberg; three sisters, Mary, wife of Raymond Guidott; oRosalie, widow of Emidio Camilli; Patricia, widow of Clarence Snyder. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services are private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
