First Sergeant Julius Robinson Bennett, 76, of Reading, PA, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Julius was born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 5, 1949, a son of the late Tamara (Robinson) and Paul Bennett.
He served in Vietnam in an artillery unit and later rose to the rank of First Sergeant, retiring after 20 years. He then worked for the US Postal Service as an Inspector for 32 years, retiring in 2017.
Julius enjoyed professional shooting, hunting, fishing, swimming, watching and collecting movies. and listening to a variety of Motown recording artist (Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Etc.). His favorite Motto is, "Don't worry; be happy and always praise Jehovah's God, In Jesus Christ name, my Lord and Savior."
Julius is survived by his three children: Anthony, Keith and Tamara Bennett, all of Philadelphia, and by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Monday, November 24, 2025, from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 8-9 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. A Religious Service will follow at 9:00 AM. Procession will leave funeral home at 9:45 AM sharp for an 11 AM interment with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
