Felice D. Marrongelle Obituary
Felice Daniel Marrongelle, 79, of Phoebe Village in Wernersville, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Felice passed peacefully at home, in the arms of his wife Judith Bennett, after a courageous five year battle with ALS.
Born September 8, 1942 to Rose (DiPietrantonio) and Daniel Marrongelle. He was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy for four years. Following his Naval service he attended Kutztown University where he received his BA and Masters degrees in education. It was there, at a Veteran’s Club meeting, he met Judi, his wife of 52 years.
After completing his degrees Felice went on to teach fourth and sixth grades at Twin Valley School District until his retirement in 1999.
In addition to traveling the world on great adventures with Judi, Felice enjoyed gardening, reading, golfing, cooking & baking, taking walks and making & enjoying homemade wine.
He was loved by all who had the good fortune to know him for his kind and gentle nature, his warm smile and his sense of humor and jokester personality.
In addition to his wife, Felice is survived by his sister, Donnamaria DiMariano, (wife of Gary, Sinking Spring), many nieces and nephews and even more great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, Chapter 321, Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002-2755
A celebration of Felice’s life to be held in the Phoebe Chapel on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 am. Masks required.
