Evelyn F. Garis, 89, of Reading, passed away Sunday, August 23rd, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Evelyn was born in Reading, PA on January 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Stella (Eckert) and William Weitzel.
She was the widow of Harold R. Garis who died on 2005.
She previously worked in Housekeeping at Wyomissing Lodge retiring in 1996.
Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Sharon A. Kern, Wife of Larry Kern of Mohnton, PA a son William H. Garis of Reading and a daughter Evelyn M. Stein and 4 grandchildren, Lori, Larry, Michael and Christopher, along with 2 great grandchildren Nora and Justin.
she was predeceased by a son, Michael Garis in 1992.
