Elizabeth M. Weidel, 89, of Mt Penn passed away  Tuesday, August 15th, at her residence. 

Elizabeth was born in Reading on January 7, 1928, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Nescavich) Weitzel and Harold Weitzel.

She was the widow of Warren L. Weidel who predeceasd her in 2011,

A member of St. Catharine of Sienna R.C. Church Mt. Penn, PA, she was the Owner & Operator at Northeast Childcare Center Reading until 2012.

Elizabeth is survived by 2 children, a daughter, Jan M., wife of Nicholas Fisher, of Mt. Penn and a son Michael H. Weidel, of Mt. Penn. 

She is also survived by four grandchildren; Scott and Noel Weidel, and Nicole and Nicholas Fisher, along with 4 great grandchildren Kaleb Weidel, Adrian, Esme and Jacob Fisher nd by a sister Marilyn Reich, wife of Martin Reich of Lebanon. She was predeceased by two sons, James Weidel in 1964 and Jody Weidel in 2017.

Internment will be private at Gethsemane Cemetery Muhlenberg Township, PA.
