Eleanor M. Evans Obituary
Eleanor M. Evans, 85, of Bernville, passed away Wednesday, June 2nd, at Fairlane Gardens, Exeter Twp. Eleanor was born in Reading on November 28, 1935, a daughter of the late Emily (Dieter) and Chester Imes and widow of Irvin R. Evans.
She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Friedens Church, Bernville and worked as a secretary at DJ Whitman Oil Co. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 251, Reading and Chapter 33 Myrtle Beach, SC.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Dawn Weller-McCleary, of Bernville; step daughter, Debra Nash, of Oregon; two step sons, Scott Evans, of Idaho; Steve Evans, of Tennessee; two sisters, Gerry Naugle, of Flying Hills; Jeanne Hicks, of New York; brother, David Imes, of Perkiomenville. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Matthew and Steve Nash. She was predeceased by son, Douglas Weller.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Evangelical Lutheran Friedens Church, 537 N. Main St., Bernville, PA 19506.
