Eileen E. Rentschler, 54, of Reading, went home to be with her lord and savior Jesus on Wednesday, June 25.
Born on August 29, 1970, Eileen was the youngest daughter of the late Margaret A. and Thomas F. Edwards.
She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years Scott W. Wiedenmann who will miss her deeply. Eileen also leaves behind cherished sons Josh Edwards and his wife Rebecca; Kyle Rentschler and his partner Brean; and stepson Scott N. Wiedenmann, Jr.
Eileen was an active, devoted, and faithful member of St. James Church COGIC and City Lights Ministries feeding, clothing, and spreading the good news of Jesus with everyone she met through her warm love and light.
In addition to spending quality time with her husband and sons and helping others, she loved being at the beach, shopping, and dancing with loved ones.
Eileen is survived by a large loving family, including five sisters, three brothers, twelve nieces and nephews, and eight great nieces and nephew. Her sisters Frances Petras, Michelle Stricker, Patricia Aguayo, Kathleen Edwards, and Margaret Brown, and brothers Thomas, Christopher, and Martin Edwards are grateful to have known and loved her as a sister.
Viewing will be held 6-8 PM, with prayer circle at 7:30 PM, on Tuesday, July 1 at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading.
A Christian celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 2 at St. James Church COGIC, 11 S. 9th Street, Reading. Viewing at the church will be 10:30-11 AM. Interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery.
