Edward J. Bauers, age 75 years, of Riverview Park, passed away Thursday, September 1st, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Edward was born in Schuylkill County on October 25, 1940 and was the husband and partner of over 30 years of Keith G. Prosser, of Riverview Park.
He served in the U.S. Army as a PFC E3 from 1962 to 1964 and was employed as a braiding machine builder at Magna Tech International, Robesonia, retiring in 2006.
He was an avid golfer and member of the American Pool Association and Hamburg Moose Lodge 523.
Ed is survived by his Daughter, Bonnie Lynn, widow of Dale Finkbone, of Muhlenberg Twp.; Daughter, Shawna Marie Bauers, widow of Eric Schwab, of Dover, DE; Daughter, Renee, wife of Bill Goddard, of Boyertown, Son, Michael Bauers, of DE. He is also survived by grandchildren, Michele, wife of Laurent Gonzalez, Brian Jr., husband of Tiffany Yoder, Bradley, Timothy, Ashley, Brittany, Courtney and Joseph Goddard and great granddaughter, Emaline Yoder. He was predeceased by his son, Edward J. Bauers, Jr.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to aid with final expenses.
